ABOUT ME
I was born at an early age in a small village in Aberdeenshire. I left home to join the Royal Air Force as soon as my education was completed.
Until quite recently, all my working life has been spent around aircraft, initially getting oily and dirty as an engineer then clean and non-oily in the sharp end of airplanes.
Music has also played a huge part in my life. I play keyboards, guitar, bass, flute and triangle with degrees of competence ranging from average to dreadful.
I was blessed by being married to a truly wonderful lady - Anne - who understood me. A bit.
I have several children, some grandchildren, a few great grandchildren (bloody hell!) and a brilliant Cocker Spaniel called Sally.

Sally passed away in December 2018 at the grand old age of 15. I miss her every day.
